Professors Sabin Stoica and Valentin Vlad from the Foundation "Horia Hulubei"-ICPB, Romania, visited ICTP to enhance ties between ICTP and the Physics community in Romania. In that connection, a memorandum of agreement was signed with the Director of ICTP. The eventual goal of the agreement is to set up a physics centre in Bucharest, to be called ICTP-Romania, under the aegis of the Foundation. Its goals and functions will be patterned after ICTP.
