You can change your password through a web page that can naturally be accessed independently of the operating system used, from all computers inside the ICTP network, or via a command in Linux.

From inside the ICTP network, visit this page to log in and subsequently change your password.

Linux command

Alternatively, use the standard UNIX command passwd on one of our UNIX terminals or a PC running Linux. If you are using Windows or a Mac (inside the ICTP) and don't want to use the web interface described above, use Secure Shell (or putty) to connect to ssh.ictp.it and run the command after logging in.
