The standard ICTP computer is a Core2 Duo E8400 class machine at 3.0 GHz speed with 2 Gb RAM and 500 Gb Hard disk.

It is equipped with both Linux and Windows XP Professional (users can choose the Operating System during the boot sequence).

All the ICTP computers are equipped with the most common software and utilities; in case you are interested in having more information about the installed software or you need any particular software to be installed, please contact our technical staff.

All the ICTP computers can read the following media:

• CD-ROM (CD-R, CD-RW, CD-AUDIO, VCD and SVCD compatible)
• DVD-ROM (DVD+/- R/RW, DVD-video and DVD-RAM compatible)
• USB storage devices
